Muhlbradt Photography

Meet Bruce:

Bruce Muhlbradt started Muhlbradt Photography in 2012 in Bozeman, MT. Bruce grew up in a small town in North Dakota, raised to love the land and embrace the warmth of friends and family. He spent his twenties traveling a good bit through Brazil and Australia, learning to embrace cultural differences.

Bruce now takes full advantage of the wonderful landscape that Bozeman, MT has to offer. He enjoys being active outdoors with his friends and two cattle dogs, birding, hiking, biking, sea kayaking, downhill and XC skiing, backpacking, all while expressing his passion for the arts in nature and travel photography. On the not-so-active side, Bruce indulges in the culture of Bozeman, tasting good food, finding the perfect Micro-brews, red wines and espressos, watching foreign movies and listening to an eclectic mix of music from the Flaming Lips to Chopin.

Why Photography:

Photography has been Bruce’s artistic outlet for the entirety of his adult life, and like many other artists, his art has evolved and refined over time. Early into his academic career, when Bruce began working on his degree at MSU, his focus was targeted on photojournalism, capturing landscape, wildlife and travel photography. As he progressed through his college career, he discovered his passion for wedding and portraiture photography. This was an avenue where Bruce could apply all the aspects of photography that resonated with his passion. As he continued this path, Bruce developed a skill of being able to connect with clients, allowing the photo session and the final products themselves to portray a genuine, timeless image.
